LE-Budget

Budget-driven (educational) organization simulation

LE-Budget focuses on business processes in budget-driven organizations. In particular on the lump sum problems of schools. LE-Budget is a role play simulation that focuses primarily on the operational management of the “production” process in a school. For example, we simulate the learning process of pupils in a school as a production process of “individual” complex Lego towers that must be built in the 8 groups (“production departments”).The participants (“teachers”) are shown a digital class with about 20 students each, of which they have to arrange the production. A building plan is available for every student. On the basis of the different colors one can determine the characteristics of the process and link costs and / or coverage to it. Apply the simulation in a different environment, to other budget-driven organizations such as; hospitals, care homes, is easy to realize.In LE-Budget the emphasis is not only on the hard business-economic side of the operational processes, but also on the soft side: the influence of behavior and attitude on the choices that are made.
