Oksana played the word-reading game Russian for the first time today. The intention is that the image of the card is linked to the correct word in Russian. Gifted children of the Enrichment Class at Hondsrug in Emmen played the game in pairs. They learned the Cyrillic spelling in a playful way and at the same time a number of identical RU / NL words. Nevertheless , we are not completely satisfied with the word-reading game, because the competition element has not yet been properly integrated. We are still thinking about how to do that. The children enjoyed it anyway and were very attentive. A nice response was: “Miss, what does it mean : A Kwa Ri Um?…” …. Oh yes, aquarium !!
